WTF? That's gay...how would they even know? What if you just got the same spot? It's clearly not a jalopy.

Just received a call from the shipping company that my J's Ti exhaust is here. Told them to come by the house at 6pm this evening and I'll pay for it. If the weather holds up, been raining off and on with more on, I'll install tonight or sometime this weekend.
To answer your question, why, noise pollution even though it is not that loud. I was going to take off the muffler a couple weekends ago, but the more I looked at it, the exhaust would be dumping it's heat right on the driver's side rear brake line, well 1 of the 2 lines. So decided against it. So how are you liking the note? Haven't viewed the vid yet, but will now.

As for the Tanabe touring... it is really a well mannered sounding exhaust. Definitely on the quiet side and IMO would benefit from a full blown custom exhaust system without getting really loud.
Yeah I know what you meant, just extend the mid-pipe with straight piping right to the rear. It's still loud enough that it isn't very characteristic of the Fit. Remember, the Fit is supposed to be a gas saver and not a boy racer.
How many people owning a Fit right now would appreciate that note, if stock? Dont' count people like us, definitely not me as my past cars were all on the side of not streetable by the defintion of many in the US. hahaha

Being that my Fit is only a month old, I'm just doing simple upgrades that won't mess with my warranty (bulbs, springs, wheels, tires, axle back etc...). Paid in the lower $300s for the Touring Medalion shipped. So far I'm nearing $3K worth of aftermarkets on it... ugh!

hahaha, mine will definitely be on the side of boy racer, sick lion or what some might call rice. It will only get worse, but better for me when I acquire the front pipe as well.
Front pipe?!?! haha you are keeping it in a cage now (race track only) nice

Well the rain has stayed away so...

If any interest, just 3 other pics in my thread and 1 quick video of start-up and a couple revs to just like 2000rpm. My neighbors are like a 70+yo couple and even though it was just like 7:30pm, didn't want to anger them at all.
