ah today...it's either laundry, car wash, visit the family in the burbs, or all of the above. hmmm...i'm leaning toward all of the above since i get to drive more. =)

edit: i did everything except wash the car...well the forecast is rain all week so instead, i painted the rear and front emblems. finally woo!

Stuck on new S.C. decal (check my photo album for pic) & vacuumed out driver's side. It only needed it on that side b/c no one ever rides with me. We all rather drive ourselves.

 

Beautiful day here, Spent a few hours out with my boy (almost 4 yrs old now) washing the Fit. I washed, he rinsed.

Washed her while the temps dipped below 103. Thinking about installing the visors again, since I've noticed that I do a lot of driving at 6-8pm and the sun is always right in the spot the visors would block out.

 

Picked up the carpet floor mats from the dealer today, and replaced the all-weather mats...the anchors for the driver's side were the same...no fuss no muss...waiting for an excuse to drive it with the carpeted mats...

 

Well, technically this was yesterday. I removed all my mods (just shifter, intake, exhaust)

Then, I traded my fit in for a 2006 s2000.

 

saw my mpg dip from 34 to 28 due to sp7 on the ETC

 

darn you... I'm in the 19-23 average... lots of stop and go... ugh!

 

If you're ditching the all-weathers, I'll take the lock-down rings on the driver's side mat if your hands...

 

I haven't done anything to my Fit today, except decided that Alpine and Apple don't mix well.

In the last ten starts, it has alternated between playing track 1 of 183 and track 58 of 183. Add to that, track 1 is always the same, but track 58 is different each time (probably because the playlist is on random).

It's freaking me out!!!

Now that I've unplugged my iPod (using it to post this), I have no idea what it will do when I plug it back in.

 

Treated FIT to new valve stem caps - nice black plastic full fit caps. Along the way we tooted a beautiful shiny red Classic 57 Chevy! Saw the guy pull up behind me at a traffic light, I actually stepped out, looked back and gave him a huge smile and a thumbs up. I want one of those. We tooted as he drove past as I turned left.

 

Today, I bounced of the rev limiter in 3rd gear... Going 80 in 3rd is a bit nerve wrecking.

 

Did a 55 mile trip yesterday and averaged 45.6 mpg on the factory readout. Lots of stoplights, and some neighborhood driving through the hills too. It was the first time I really tried to drive for max economy in this car, and I'm surprised how good it did.

 

Today I have washed it for the sec time since i have owned it (have had it only for 10 days its nighthawk blk in 5spd sport) I cried over all the swirls that are visable in direct sunlight, waxed it cleaned the windows inside and out, put rainx on all the windows except the windshield, then I removed the FIT badge and the two honda badges. I painted the Honda badges semi gloss Blk and Reinstalled, I then installed the lug locks, installed the new weather tech mats and thought about doing the rear wiper mod. I also did the lower mesh grill mod. planning on doin some odd jobs for some neighbor to raise capital for the shark fin antenna and some 35% window tint all the way around! that was alot of fun!!!!! it was some good quality bonding time with my new fit still yet unnamed.
