I've had the all-season floor mats in the car for about 9 months...

So... Today I figured I'd put in the Clips that actually hold it in place.

Now I don't have to do the heel pull every time I get in the car to start it. Magically, the floor mats just stay there!

My license plates came in the mail so they went on. All weather floor mats went in yesterday. The first car I have had that had three page instuctions for installing the floor mats. Window visors and locking gas cap are on my wish list.

Ordered the 3rd part of the exhaust from J's. It replaces the secondary cat, but leaves the primary cat in place and I will not need to use any defouler to trick the ECU that the cat(s) is(are) in place. And I won't be completely polluting the air since the primary cat will still be in use and it is what the ECU relies on to differenciate between the 2 sensors.

Once installed, I will have shaved 19.3lbs of weight from the exhaust.

Ohhh yeah, I also finally got around to installing the harness bar from J's, had it for a few months now and just never got around to installing. Also shaved another 5.8lbs of weight with the removal of the passenger side airbag. Already have been running around without the driver side for quite sometime. Those 2 pieces equaled 12lbs of weight. I know many or at least a few will have negative thoughts about the airbags being removed, but I've been in an accident where both airbags deployed and was completely unnecessary and the driver side one actually hindered my ability to see a pole I was heading straight towards and I was slapping it out of my way and stopped a little less than a foot away from the pole which would have done major damage. Also, the same 5R was later destroyed completely in almost the same area as my accident and my friend walked away pretty much unscathed without airbags inside the car. So if you have something negative to say, just keep it to yourself please because it will not change my opinion nor make me run back and install the items.

Is this C.A.R.B exempt and if not how are you getting around the period inspections or don't they have those in the Bay Area?

Well, acouple days ago I had the windows tinted, and as for today, I clay barred the car and through on some wax. Getting ready for my carbon lip, mugen window lips, and roof rack that comes in this week. Now the wife is home and I am going to detail her fit and get it ready for her carbon Hood. Oh yeah.

well technically it wasn't today(Wednesday afternoon), and it wasnt done by me loll

I took my fit into the dealer body shop for repair. needed a dent on the rear quarter of the car fixed and repainted. I'm out $800+70 bucks tax on that from my own pocket. grrr!!! Dealer whouldnt budge on price. Seems to me he just swapped out the part with another one I figured it should have been a whole lot less than that.

Maybe Yesterday?

Drove up the front range of the Rockies, I-70 west from Denver.

Somewhat disappointed that the car was so sluggish, I would have thought that the ECU would have compensated for the thinner air. Had to downshift frequently to maintain a reasonable speed (below the limit), and sit there and watch all the other cars go whizzing by.

Still having problems today in Southern Utah, at only about 5,000 feet elevation.

Fit has about 57k on it now, should I be looking to replace plugs or sumpthin'?

I've been in the mountains around here, anywhere from 1200~2250m(3937~7382') and haven't really noticed any hesitation with the Fit, in fact normally people move to the side if I come up on them. Of course they are doing the speed limit of 30km/h and I'm doing more like 2.5~3 times that.

Shave weight!!! The Fit's best friend.
