Installed a K&N typhoon last night. Definitely a tad more power. First gear is a handful compared to before. Sound is stock-like even under light throttle. WOT is nice and deep until you hit 5400 rpms or so when vtec hits and the harsh Honda sound emerges. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, and it will serve my purposes of being a little louder and more noticeable to the large cars around me, and give a touch of power in the process. Increase in mpg will be tracked too (if any.)

took a big step today. took off the knockoff "mugen style" visors and getting OEM ones direct from the dealers tmrw. seeing the real mugen ones up close makes me embarrassed to be driving with knockoffs... so off they come. gonna go clean and legit w/ OEM!!!

Got my new amp in for the subwoofer. Probably have the loudest Fit in the city now. She's just a thumpin' and bumpin' now.

I hope you have a decent alarm system to go with that bangin' system.

Of course, viper 3303V . Best part is though, you can't tell it has anything until I flip the switch, wiring is all hidden and I still have the stock head unit. Always fun to get new people in the car and let it boom, they never see it comin'

Actually my fit was resurected today. It was completely by accident but I pulled out the remainder of my dead engine on Thursday and just started my new engine up on Easter morning. A sane person would have gone back to NA at least for a few days but not me! The turbo is back in. Making even more power now.

I bought it!

This post is a little late (I drove it home on Friday and completed the purchase on Saturday), but I'm thrilled to be part of the club!

We just traded in our Accord Saturday for a Fit! My wife named him George and we ordered some goodies for him from a couple places.

Painted the radio bezel white, installed a new head unit (sounds much much better now) and removed the lumbar support from the drivers seat. Now that I know how it works I am going to build my own so the seat is actually comfortable.

Today, I backed into a fence hinge next to the road and dented and popped off the black plastic from the colored plastic on my right side mirror. Need to figure out if I can pop the black plastic back on without needing to buy new parts...

X 25 I highly suggest you put that "lumbar support" back in the seat. Its actually a part of the active head restraint and somewhat a lumbar brace.

I will be putting it back in once I get it to a point where I can stand the seat. I am going to try to thicken up the top part with something to make the seat a bit flatter or it just kills my back after about 20 minutes. It is honestly the only gripe I have about the car.

Rustolium Plastic. No prep, just cleaned it good. I am going to do a bunch of the other silver trim as well.
