Bought OEM All-Season mats for $110 and a Mugen mirror cover for $55 at my dealer. Love the mats and the mirror cover will arrive in a few days.

So, after work, I went out for a little drive... for the fun of it, and partly to see if I could find a decent place to eat since I was hungry.

After about an hour an half of wandering around, I was heading to a Taco Bell and was waiting at a traffic light (the same light I would be using later to get home).

This lady in her CRV behind me... while I'm waiting for the green to appear for us (turn arrow was just about done), bops me!!!

WTF?!?!? The one part of my car that hadn't gotten dinged scratched or whatever in the last year, now has what looks like a stretch mark right smack in the middle. It's only about an inch long so I don't think most would notice it anyway.

If she had waiting ONE more second... JUST ONE second, I would've taken off and she could do whatever she wanted.

Her excuse was she "slipped." GAHHHH

And you know what pisses me off just as badly? Despite having paid for the insurance all year... I have no insurance card in my car. I didn't trade insurance info in the first place because I didn't feel like dealing with it at all.

My insurance is up for renewal, but in the mean time, I should find the policy card anyway.

You really should have gotten her insurance info. Most insurance policies have what's called a 'chargeable threshold' In other words if the accident costs less than $500-$1000 (depending on the company and state) Her rates would not be affected. Thats why it pisses me off so much that people just run off when they hit other cars with their door in the parking lot. If the assholes just left their insurance information, the other person could get the damage fixed, and it wouldn't impact the rates of the person who caused it. Also, don't give your insurance card to somebody when they admit they are at fault. You don't want them (or you) to have any contact with your own insurance company. Don't ever let your own insurance company know about a not-at-fault accident unless you intend to have them subrogate. It can make it difficult to switch to another company. Difficult to explain, but basically a not at fault accident is still considered an 'incident' When you are looking for new insurance companies you can only have so many 'incidents' to qualify for a standard (as opposed to non-standard) insurance policy with the best rates.

I got the Fit back from the body shop after having the dent in the right rear door repaired (see my latest mishap, above). As usual, my local guy did a great job, and the door looks better than it did when it was new.

Next time I'll try to dent the other door (that already has a ding in it).

I have a foot injury at the moment so getting decent pics is not possible. Also, "slammed is subjective so my 2in front and 1.7in rear drop might not be slammed for some.

Yes they are buddyclub N+, alot of the GEs on the forum that are lowered to the Max are on buddyclub coilovers. I've seen the coilovers installed and the front is able to be lowered to the floor and the rear can be lowered another 2.5 inches from where I am right now.

They ride pretty good considering the spring rates. Ill never know the Max low setting for the coilovers since I'm not really into the stance and hellaflush thing. I mainly got the coilovers to improve handling.

So they aren't to bad for daily driving? And is it easy to raise and lower on your own?

as promised pics of my fit with buddyclub coilovers.

with 1.8 degree camber 16x6.5 +44 wheels and 205/50 tires the front tires rub on steep elevation changes and extreme hard cornering. the rear wheels are the same as the front but with 5mm spacers and they do not rub at all.

i estimate 2" front and 1.6" rear drop.

the fit's handling comes alive with the coilovers and high speed cornering stability has increased tremendously.

Was followed by random tc in traffic for a few miles, traffic opens up, I stomp the pedal, and SLUSH! God, the slush was incredible. Intake temps were still ambient but somehow my trans was not happy with sudden onset of power. Need bigger fan for trans cooler indeed.

I chipped the paint on the door.

tiny little spot, maybe 2 or 3 mm in diameter. I was getting out of the car and pulled the seat belt around... and heard the lovely sound of steel hitting sheet metal.

*sigh*

I installed a set of clear axis styled LED tails. Now the back looks so much cleaner.
