Did the side tints today. Tricky, but doable, though the back wedge windows were a pain in the arse! Hard to get around those seatbelt anchors! I do so hope that the advice that they will look funky for a few days and then clear up is true. Bought a heat gun so I can shink-fit the back window tint in the next few days.

NOTE: If you take this project on, do watch several different versions of the 'how to' videos. Good advice and demonstrations. I found it really handy to set up a large folding table to work from. Do try to find someplace dust and hair free, and do not trust the label that says 'lint free' on the paper towels!! I wish I'd gotten the hardcard that has a tight angle on one corner. That would have helped a lot!

I added bumper guards...you need them in NYC w/ all the parallel parking here. To give you and idea check: Rear Bumper Guard - Image Gallery

kinda tacky but they work its my 3rd car that i've installed them on.

Those looks a lot better than those you get from your local Pep-boys, Autozone. I saw a brand new 2009 BSP on the highway a few weeks back with 4 silver bumper strip, 2 on each corner and smack in the middle section 2 silver bumper square thingy. IMO...so sad

Came home from work, & the new WeatherTech mats had arrived.
Pulled out the temp junk, & in they went.

Going back to the dealer for my OEM door visors Monday

Has anyone added a better rear view mirror?
I'm thinking of one with Temp, Compass, & HomeLink.

Took the Fit to the Yaris/Fit Group Meet and Drive this morning.
Ended up at Benzta to install the JDP rear diffuser.
Guess that makes our FiT officially the first one with the JDP rear diffuser in British Columbia or maybe even Canada.

Pictures to follow.

Hauled a Kayak

Good thread for me to try a picture link for the first time. Looks easy.

Rack is by Inno. Foam covers are my own preference - too hard to lift the kayak up into purchased cradles.

That car is the replacement for this car, although the '93 Escort is still going strong. It's been a very solid little car.
