What did you do to your GE fit today?
I actually spend the good part of an afternoon testing the system out. When i fitted and tested the lights before I put the front lens on, both worked just fine. But once the lens went back on it started to have problems. I changed the grounding point, even grounding it directly to the same point as the other light. The passenger side was the side having the issues. The bulb on that side never worked once the issues began. But the ballast would randomly work on the driver side bulb, but only is both ballasts were plugged in. Its a weird issue.
So in other words, your passenger side bulb doesn't work on either ballast, and the drivers side bulb works on the passengers side only intermittently?
Well the d2s bulbs should just clip into the back of the projector, so I don't think it's really necessary to have them in the oven at any point. It's not like the bulbs themselves need to be lined up.
I can't help thinking that maybe it was a mistake to put the bulbs in the oven and that that was what killed one of them.

These look great!

I hope thats not what caused the problem. I was following their youtube channel's D2S install, and as far as I could tell they left the bulbs in the rest of the time after they were installed into the projector, and the video doesn't mention having to take the bulbs out.
all the guides i've read said to remove anything metallic before putting in the oven... but that's probably to make sure it doesn't burn the headlight. then again i'm sure the aluminum on the lightbulb would burn the bulb..
Thanks guys! I appreciate it. It cost me about $150, but I guarantee you can do it yourself for way cheaper.
Cleaned Engine, changed couple of coils
Very happy with power regained by the Engine, will do some cleaning inside with gas additives before changing the oil....

Wow how many miles on your engine? Changed my plugs a couple weeks ago at 104k miles and my coils didn't look like that at all.
