What did you do to your GE fit today?
Even so, the more even the weight distribution, the better. It would also tidy up the engine bay just that little bit more.
Just got back from my first long distance trip from New Jersey to Michigan and back with my 2013 Fit Sport putting around 1500 miles on the car. So now I have 5K miles on the car which I bought new in September. My overall average mpg was 33. Slight disappointment on the mpg but the drive was good with the exception of right side neck pain from the seating position I'm assuming. I spoke with my niece-in-law while in Michigan who is a physical therapist student and she noticed the headrest more forward then other cars and said I should move the seat back to ease the strain. So after driving 12 hrs back home with the seat way back it did improve. I read several posts here and the headrest is that way for safety and yes it is not a "headrest" but a "head restraint" .....wink. I'll post pictures of my salt covered Fit later.

I would never drive that long in any car let alone the Fit, I try not to drive more than 4hrs max without plenty of rest between. It's just bad for your back, legs, and overall circulation to be sitting that long
Lol.. I've driven over 15 hours in one day in my fit multiple times. If you get out and stretch every couple hours for a few minutes, you'll be fine.
A couple things that could mitigate the discomfort after this long are the center arm rest console (better arm rest position), and the gas pedal tension spring mod(foot rests more comfortably on the stiffer gas pedal).

finished the valve adjustment. all the exhaust valves had trouble letting a 0.003IN feeler gauge through. Intake was at max tolerance, but still acceptable.
Adjusted exhaust to 011, and intake to .006, DAMN she purrs now!
Feels much stronger, but this could also just be the different exhaust note from a warm motor that finally has no exhaust valves open all the time!

yes, makes me wonder why honda is now sucking at life for sending out new cars.
My dads accord already has needed an early service for noises (under warranty) and my mother is going in for her valve adjustment after hearing about mine. Her crz has 22k miles i think. She thought the ticking was normal

due to the design, some ticking is normal. but after hearing how mine sounds with a fresh adjustment, I begin to wonder how honda allowed these cars to come factory like they do. brand new mine was ticking much louder then it does now with 24k miles.
EDIT try this. If you can CLEARLY hear the ticking inside the car with the fan speed on say, 2, it probably needs an ajustment.
Thats probably the worst way to test it, but the BEST way is to tear it apart and check, in which case you might as well adjust them anyways.
Feeler gauges are cheap, just buy the bent arm ones. I spent 12 bucks.
It took me 45-50 minutes with one smoke break to do it.
Very simple job if you take your time and are careful. 10mm and 12mm sockets, needlenose pliers for teh valve cover breather clamp, and a flathead screwdriver for the intake clamps. Outside of that, its just unplugging wiring in the way and removing the air intake assembly. Those metal curved runners can stay put
