Tell your dad to relax. On my 140 mile drive every day I see 3 to 4 other Fellow fitters making their commute. I was downtown on Jefferson yesterday outside the GM HQ and there were three Honda vehicles parked on the street making deliveries to offices.
I live in Michigan and drive to the city all the time in my Fit. I work in Southfield, live in Port Huron and yesterday drove Woodward out of downtown to Southfield at lunchtime. My wife drives a Element and has no problems either.
