Hi everyone, I just picked up the Honda fit Sport today, I love it The only thing is that when I open the door no lights come on. I tried driving to the store and it was pitch black coulnd see anything is there a switch I need to turn on the Dome/Map lights...Thanks

 

look at the dome light. there is typically a switch that you will slide over so it activates the light every time the door is open.

I looked around I didnt see a lever. Maybe this is just they way it is.

 

its not a lever. its a little slider switch on one side of the light. use a flashlight to search for it since its dark out.

 

There is a three way slide switch on the domelight frame. IIRC, the center position allows the light to come on with the door latches, one direction turns it off completely, and the other turns it on all the time.

Of course, you could read the owner's manual.
