hello

just sayin hi ... picked up a 2010 Fit base in storm silver last night. so far it's stock. having the dealer install keyless entry later this week. as far as mods, for now i'll just be doin a clean OEM/JDM look. when the warrenty is gone a k-swap will be in order.

On the keyless entry, it's just cutting and programming the key; the base fit already has all the electronics for keyless entry, just no keys.

The blank key is about $40. cutting and programming about $50. Dealers around here will charge up to $300 for it. And it's only one key! The key is available here, but will still require cutting and security programming. Some people are not using the key part, just the remote lock/unlock. There's a huge thread on it here.

Check out the prices for other accessories. Don't pay too much!

Congrats and welcome.. hopefully by the time ur warranty is up, k swaps will be possible.. as of right now they aren't

was it the perfection plate or the mountains

i just got stationed here a few months ago... are you in albuquerque?

Nope, I'm in Atlanta. Lived in Utah and Colorado. That mountain didn't look like Stone Mountain.

So um, are you in UFOs? Your avatar looks a little alien. (are those film cans?)
