I havent received a reply from Hondata. Its been almost a week now. BOO!!!!!!

Wow...so many inaccuracies. You really should stop posting....like now. CAI and cat back does NOT, I repeat...does NOT yield 15-20 hp I can show you several dyno graphs supporting my statement....I challenge you to produce a single dyno showing a 15-20 hp gain with CAI and cat back.. But don't worry, I won't hold my breath waiting

As far as all your other inaccuracies....there is no flashpro for the Fit. There are two separate Flashpro's for for the civic ecu...one for the anemic R18 and one for the K series. No one in the world has flashed a Fit ECU using either of these Flashpro's....so stop saying their is a flashpro for the Fit.

I think he was talking about 15-20 combined with an agressive tune. I've seen it happen -- but only with engines that ran really rich from the factory.

There is no flashpro for the GE8 yet. If you're adamant about this, please check Hondata's site.

 

Just to clarify, I was referring to the L15a7 when I referred to dyno graph results of CAI + catback.

It just sucks because J's Racing already has a reflash for the GE8, but I want to be able to alter the tune myself and the FlashPro would fill that void left by a reflash.

 

Maybe if we are 100 to tell them we are interested, it would have more impact then if only 3 of us tell them while 97 other juste keep whining on forums... :|

Well I'm dead serious about purchasing as soon as it becomes available. My old 5R was KPro'd, the Snisen was also KPro'd with the dual ECU setup and I want my GE8 FlashPro'd.

If the damn R18 Civic is being FlashPro'd why not the Fit?

Also just noticed, the thread I made was locked so at least they looked at it and snubbed me with a raised nose. Damn, I may just have to end up with the J's reflash.

Well, you know they get hounded like this all day everyday...probably with requests like, "Hey when are you guys gonna come out with flash pro for the 1994 Honda Odyssey. Money in hand!!!"

The more often we badger them the more likely they will push this up the priority list.

On a separate note, I just read the Honda Tuning article about the Flash pro + turbo kit for the R18 civic...man...200+ Tq at 2500 RPM!!!!! Makes me want to buy a used 06-up civic and bolt this on.

 

I DID talk to hondata and thay said it is on the list to be made, but not for a year to two years.

 

5 years from now...the Fit is going to be a VERY popular platform. I will never sell mine...

I will sell mine, but for another one on sale up at GarageFK in Saitama. Just ¥2500000 right now. I wish.

I actually felt this way about my DC5R and to this day I miss it ohhh so much, Guam without any smog checks or anything really still follows to the letter the EPA standards and I was not allowed to bring it with me from Okinawa. So I sold it not knowing I would be in mainland just 20 months later. So I won't say I won't sell my Fit, because who knows what is really going to happen in the future. The GF might make the GE look like small potatoes. If the next gen Fit is even called the GF.

 

I recently emailed Hondata again...it's my once a month ritual

What amount of interest would it take to push something like this forward? 50? 100? *1000? There are a lot of GE Honda Fit/Jazz owners waiting with baited breath for this. *I bet I could get a committed list of over 100 willing to place a deposit in a matter of weeks.
