Dealer plastic insignia on rear of car...how to remove

Anyone know how to remove the dealers insignia/name plate that they sometimes attach to the rear body of the car? I bought this used and the word...Kelly...is attached to the rear...looks to be plastic.

Dental floss usually works, you may have to use a blow dryer to warm up and loosen the glue a bit and then use some sort of goo-gone to get rid of the excess.

^^ blow dryer works great to get it warm, after that rubbing alcohol will take off the residue.

If you wait until the summer heat you maybe able to hook a fingernail under one corner and slowly peel it off. Worked for me when taking the Fit emblem off.

Autozone, etc also sells 3M adhesive remover, it comes in an aerosol can. That works good for taking off stickers and won't hurt in taking off the emblem.

dental floss and a hair dryer should suffice.
i've done it with my friend's civic.

if there's still some left over adhesive, you can try peeling it off with your finger nails (just don't scratch your paint). then clean the area off with goo gone.

however, depending on how long it's been exposed to the sun, you might get a "tan". you're gonna have to polish it.

WD-40 works great. Squirt it on and after a while it will almost fall off and leave no residue.
