Weird scraping noise at low rpms? (Audio Included)
Hey guys, I currently own a 2010 Honda Fit in automatic transmission. Lately I have noticed a weird scraping sound coming from the engine bay as I drive at low rpms. This only occurs during first or second gear from what I have seen. So far my fit is all stock and I was wondering what could be causing this weird sound? Any help would be appreciated.

If anyone could show me how to insert a video in this post that would be great.

Don't worrry, it's not just you. Others have experienced this phenomenon with no ill effects.
My best guess is it's transmission fluid being released under pressure when the torque converter either locks or unlocks going from 2nd to 3rd under light acceleration.

A transmission drain fill with newer synthetic Honda DW-1 transmission fluid may help alleviate the noise and lighten your wallet at the same time. Mine stopped making the noise after this, but I felt rather silly paying $108 to Honda for a few quarts of fluid changed.
