Level of difficulty installing OEM Armrest Console?

I am thinking of making a "U" shaped bracket like in the oem kit, to stiffen up my aftermarket armrest/console. I can't find a part nuimber for just the bracket.

If you look up the instructions online you'll see (Last page). After drilling the holes into the center console the bolts get put it in from the bottom and face up, and you secure the bolts into the armrest. You get a bracket in the box and it's plenty secure so don't worry about that.

Thanks JoeJzxn, that's what I needed to know. Just wish I could buy just the brackets. Buying a used oem console, this would also be a concern.

I realize this is an old post, but does anybody have an armrest like the one removed? Or know where I can buy one? I don't want a center console but need a moveable armrest like the one removed in this video.

Be aware that the "leather" is really vinyl. My cracked after a few years and chipped off in parts. Find some decent vinyl preservative and apply it. Oh, and the shift boot isn't leather either...
