BayRidge Honday in Brooklyn, NY
So just recently purchased a 2009 honda fit (sport model) and the previous owner never got the car checked for a recall regarding to a "Lost Motion Spring Broken", now on top of that, there's the airbag recall. Has anyone ever been to the bayridge honda in Brooklyn, NY?
yes, service department is completely useless. brought mine in for vsa recall and they had to keep it there for 3 days, ripped out my mudflaps and left the interior dirty af. then came the day it's finished and had to wait 2 hours to pick it up because the guy couldn't locate my car in there lot. had to tell the manager which car was mine other than being the only white fit in the small lot and pointing it out as it sticks out like a sore thumb. definitely wouldn't recommend them for servicing.
btw i've been there twice, first time for a complimentary oil change (free with purchase of car) and waited almost 4 hours for the oil change despite "calling for appointment".
Though if you're just picking up parts there (ie; wiper inserts, gaskets, etc) the guy at the desk is super helpful and willing to try to get the best service whether it's parts advice or pricing. i believe his name was anthony

When I got my motion springs recall done at bay ridge Honda back in 2011, it wasn't too bad. Dropped it off and picked it up the next day with little to no wait. Now that I have to get my airbag recall done, Its either bay ridge again or plaza Honda at Nostrand avenue.
