How Many Miles Before You Changed Your Clutch?
Got to 180k on my 2011 before one of the springs popped out, still didn't leave me stranded - managed to limp home somehow. Even more impressive that it went that many miles considering I drive like I stole it... ;P
165,000 miles 2013 Honda Fir Sport
My 2013 Fit Sport is at 165,000 miles and I’m still on my original clutch and water pump. Was wondering how long the clutch could possibly last but reading this thread gives me hope I might enjoy it a bit longer before facing a clutch replacement. Any warning signs to look, beyond no more pedal travel / launch issues? Love to drive this everyday, On my 3rd fit - gave my 2009 to my son (still going 189,000), totaled my first 2013 hitting a deer, turned around bought my current 2013 with 64K miles - in 2018- problem free so far - love it, absolute blast to drive!
I've got 225,000 on my 2010 sport and this morning I noticed a whirring sound. When I clutch in the sound gets louder. I've looked around and it seems that it's the throw out bearing starting to fail. I've also noticed a bit of slipping recently that I just thought was me slipping the clutch. I guess it turns out the clutch is nearing it's end.
Clutch life on 2013 Honda Fit Sport
To those wondering how long a clutch might last on a 2013 Honda Fit Sport - I now have 185,000 miles and am still on my original clutch! I did have my water pump and coils replaced at 160k as ignition coils had fail my 2009 at around that mileage and it seemed odd that water pump had not started leaking. Clutch travel is a bit shorter but shifting is still no issue. Targeting 200K miles! To be fair much of my driving is spirited highway NJ to DE 2x per week. Love 2009-2013 Fits unfortunately a bit of rust starting rear fender well lip.

Come to think of it, I had a throw-out bearing fail on my '08 Fit in the first 25k mi. and replaced under warranty.
I'm only basing this on what I found this morning about that sound. I haven't had it looked at by a professional yet. But with 225,000 miles on it I'm ok with just going ahead and getting it replaced. It's probably pretty tired at this point.
