If the Insight coils don't come with the spring mounts, can I reuse the ones from the Fit coils?

Not sure on the rubber isolation mounts, I didn't swap them, since I pulled the springs and rubber mounts myself. I bet the stock Fit ones would work. Check part numbers on Honda OE parts sites

Looks like the same mount parts for models of that period.

 

Hey all, new to the forum, bought a Honda Fit here in Puerto Rico land of potholes, which has had the original springs cut to lower it!...Fashion. I'm gonna have to get new springs anyways, so I'm hoping to lift it. Mine is a 2008, so, second generation I'm gathering? And I see here that the insight springs seem to work on anything second generation or above?

Seems like the consensus is rear insight springs for lift and greater load.

And front insight springs increase load, but you need to add 30mm spacers to level the car, whether you use front fit or insight springs?

Sorry to repeat, I'm just confirming/summarizing all I've read through, and trying to confirm this alteration could work on my 2008.

Besides parts numbers, how do I even find specs related to each models' springs to compare and see if they work together?
