Automatic locks are draining battery? 09 Automatic Fit

Long story short...vehicle was taken to a Gonda dealership somewgere in Baltimore and owner was told it was $500 fix. The automatic locks are draining the battery and the owner was told the cause was the automatic locking mechanism..I am not a certified mechanic but when I searched I could not find a part that would cost that much. I will do it myself. Just need to know what exactly I need to purchase. Any help is appreciated.

Does your Fit keep auto relocking itself even when the locks are locked? Our daughter Fit does the auto relock when we first got it for her. I reprogram the doors, not to auto lock itself, and if we don't lock the doors with the driver door switch the auto lock feature doesn't come into play. We can lock all the doors manually with the exception of the driver door and the auto lock feature doesn't try to lock all the doors. It is only when the driver door is locked that I can hear the door actuator keeps trying to lock all the doors. The driver door actuator from Honda is about 250.00 dollars plus labor to install the actuator in the door. Labor is 1-2 hours.
