I got a price quote from AJ-R, $805 for an unpainted front lip and $615 for the grille, non-hybrid version. I say we get JDP to make a replica of the Mugen. I'm having trouble justifying $615 for just a grille.
That grille is 33600 yen or ~$430

The front lip is 46200 yen or ~$590

Regardless, there needs to be a demand for 10pcs for us to have JDP make them. I've considered making my own front lip.

I thought they were blowing smoke when I got that estimate, but I figured they're also including tax an shipping to them and whatnot. Either way, I still want the grille. I starte an interest list in your thread.

I spoke to the bodyshop i got my spoiler / garnish done at and it seems that a custom front grille (replica of the mugen) would be somewhere in the $400-$500 range due to the fiberglass mold that would have to be made, along with revising fitment and all that jazz.

That grille is good stuff, it just needs to be gloss black.

New mods!
-Duckbill spoiler (not JDP, it's from a group buy back a couple years ago)
-Color matched rear garnish, along with the wiper delete
-Going to do a couple small details, then I'm saving up for another big mod.

You have a nice ass

thanks guys, definitely still a work in progress haha.
i do need some help deciding though. i'm stuck between two rim choices:
1) rpf1's. 16x8 et38

2) nue's. 17x8 et30

both of them have been done on fit's before, i just don't know if i should go with a more "aggressive" look on the rpf1's, or stay cleaner on the nue's.

I had a set of 17x8 +30 NUE's that I was going to mount on my Fit but decided to sell them. The set I had were powder coated and ended up weighing around 25 pounds each if I remember correctly. The RPF1's (16x8) are 15.55 pounds each according to the Enkei website, so you'll definitely be saving a good amount of weight with the RPF1's. Both sets will look great though as long as you stay at the height you're currently at..or even better if you decide to go lower

I'm not too concerned with weight, the Momo's I'm on now are heavy as hell. I photoshopped this:

I'm pretty settled on the NUE's now haha. That's all at my current height, I do plan on going a bit lower though, especially in the front (my current 215's are stopping me from doing that now).

It looks good! Are you going with the machined finish if you decide to go with the NUE's? And what tire brand/size will you go with?

Hi FittedOnEm.If you are planning new wheels for your ride i will said there are a lot of nice ones out there.Your two options are GOOD but MAYBE this wheel will look really nice on your car.Black on white ALWAYS will look SICK to the eye. This wheel come in 17" and for our 4 lug nuts pattern...

Of the two you posted, I vote for the NUE's. Your fit is frickin CLEAN and I think the RPF's don't fit that "theme".

Definitely going machined. I don't like any of the other finishes on the NUE's, takes a lot away from the simple design. I don't know what brand of tires I'm going with, but as far as sizing, 205/40s. I just need to roll the back fenders a bit, and I might need to pull the fronts out a bit more and get camber bolts.

Ehh, not my style. They aren't bad looking, but not what I'm going after. And I'm trying to get rid of the dark colored rims, had a set on my SSM and on this one as well.

Haha thanks, that's pretty much the dilemma I was/am in. But after that photoshop I think the NUE's are a bit of a better choice, a little more of what I'm after.

With NUEs you'll end up rubbing everything. +30 and 8" width isn't too Fit friendly.

I'm aware of that, which is why it's only a consideration. If I do decide to go with the NUE's, the car becomes a bit more strict on form over function. Even with the 205/40's I'll have to roll the rear fenders a bit, and I'll have to run a camber kit up front and try to pull the fenders out a hair more. I don't think I'll have too many issues, but only one person has run these specs before (whom I'm in the process of PM'ing).

I've looked into other rims, but I have issues with how most of them look in weak sizes.

That other person also sold his car, suffice to say.

Also very aware, just hoping that I get some reply.
Any other suggestions on what to look into? Not many rims in my ~$250 price range are very appealing.
