You make me wanna drop even more on my RPF1 SBC's! Also, I'm debating on the Mugen rear for the same reasons...just not a fan of the fake dual exhaust.

Do it! I want to run spacers, nothing too aggressive though. I'm saving up for other projects though, I'm still enjoying not having rubbing issues without the Works haha.

Yeah, that's why I was torn between getting rid of the JDP and picking up the Mugen. You get over it though. I actually just got my exhaust setup redone today, I'll post that up later when I have actual pictures and whatnot.

I'm thinking 5mm's, what are you thinking? I have generous roll/pull up front, and a good shop if the rear needs it too...too much too/too little @ 5mm?

I've heard you can modify the lip pretty easy, what did you do to modify the exhaust?

Whatever I do...I gotta fix this:

To avoid rubbing issues I wanna run 10s in the rear (atleast) and 5s up front, but I'm not completely certain yet. My works sat much more flush, but like I said earlier I'm enjoying not having rubbing issues, haha. I wish my set was SBC though! Straight sex <3

Long process, but basically purchased through Amazon Japan and forwarded through Rakuten. Wasn't the cheapest thing ever for a piece of plastic.

I'm wondering how it would look if you painted your JDP lip....

Not much to update at this point. Starting college + no job (currently) = things staying pretty much the same. Since last time...

-Progress Rear Sway Bar
-Raised up the car about 1" all around, running stiffer settings on the BuddyClubs
-NRG Front Canards
-Custom Magnaflow Muffler

Got it dyno'd. Best run it made 100.5 hp / 83.4 tq

http://www.flickr.com/photos/41754576@N03/10657249313/Video is of a second gear pull, made 100 on a third gear run. I feel like the 100hp mark was a mistake though- the torque converter on the A/T unlocks when you hit 80, which is the spike in the dyno graph. second best run was 96 hp, the other run shown in the dyno sheet is the second gear pull.

Unfortunately one of the RPF1's bent going 80 down the freeway:

Saving up to get it fixed, as well as getting the wheels powder coated. That'll be the next update.

So, as she currently sits, 16" Rota SVN's up front with the RPF1's in the back until I have the cash to refinish the wheels.

Other than that, I have an image of how I want the car to look, but I also have to weigh in the fact that it is my DD. I'll update once the wheels get redone. Still have to do my oil change, transmission fluid, brake pads, and other regular maintenance

Bummer about the RPF1.

I'm really starting to like those door mouldings a lot. They add a little something to the car. Cars looking sick as always Andrew, we need to do a shoot soon man!

Thanks man, I'll be sure to update once I get everything settled back down. I wish I could get upgrade from the RPF1's but refinishing will do for now.

They do! Especially on TW. I was iffy about it at first but it looks like there's something missing when I see a Fit without them now.
I'm down for a photoshoot once I get my wheels done! My ghetto / track car setup isn't working for me right now haha.

Truth be told, I've been torn in how your car lately has blended JDM, VIP, and race themes...but this latest update makes me a little jealous/speech-less. Nice work, and nice blend!

Yeah... I've been trying to figure out the exact direction I'm going in with the car. It's been a bit scattered lately haha. But thank you, I think it'll all tie together much better with the next update.

that wheel doesnt seem like it would be too hard to fix.

your exhaust sounds pretty nice, where did you get it done?

It's still holding air, I'm rocking it bent for the time being.
Exhaust was done by King Muffler in Van Nuys. I had the resonator cut off and a 18" Magnaflow muffler installed at the back. Fits perfectly between the coils and the Mugen rear.

Small update, JDM rear emblem. Still saving up for the next mod.
