whats up with the T1R Springs? i was actually considering these...and im listed on the T1R Group Buy for the Coil overs... is T1R good quality?

Because i know you get what you pay for but with a $670 Coilover on group buy is hard to let it pass me by... please give me feedback..interested.

I never had a complaint with my T1R springs. Ride comfort was fine for me, and I loved where the drop sat.

everybody loves where T1R springs sit... low... ridiculously low for springs and that's about it. it's the horror stories of blown shocks/struts in no time is where you should take in consideration. there's a proper way to to get a 2" or more drop and doing that on springs alone is not one of them... just my personal opinion.

Also very true, although in the time I had them on my shocks never blew out, I had them on for about 6k miles before the Fit died.
He poses a very good point; and one that I'd suggest listening to (as I am, second time around). If you're looking to go low, just do coilovers and do it right the first time.
But, FIT-tles, I don't think you should be concerned with the T1R coilovers blowing out on you.

I would assume the T1R springs worked well with you as you're in CA and you guys are blessed with nice roads
yes, should be fine with those coilovers.

The T1R Basic kit isn't out yet, so I can't say how ride quality and such will be. You can look up reviews for T1R coilovers on other cars, that'll give you a better idea of how they'll be on the Fit.
I'm personally saving for the Buddy Clubs, because
-they go the lowest (not that I'm ever planning on going THAT low)
-adjustable dampening (main selling point to me)
-many run them without issue
Alternate options that are on the cheaper side would be T1R Basic's, Tein Basis', and Function&Form Type II's. Megan's are a bit cheaper as well, but I'd take anything else over them (just my opinion of the company itself).

yea as far as dampening goes, i dont plan to track ever... im looking to lower the wheel gap and have some firmness for cruising around town... But i dont want a super stiff and uncomfortable ride... thats why im concerned... im not too familiar with spring rates but T1R ones coming out seem to be low which i believe means softer...

I think i will go with the T1R Group Buy if all goes well...
