GE8 Front Brake Pad Compatibility
I changed my 09 front brakes and flushed brake fluid at 38k (61k km). The old pads were still thick but it got mushy, so I switched to Hawk for GD, Brembo blanks for 05 Civic and new OEM brake fluid. I love how it stops now.
What pert number did u use for both? and where did u get it from ? thanks for any info
I used hawk hp plus pads, part number Hb418N.646
I think they're....ok to pretty good. I use them for autoX and road course. Bites good, but they throw a crap load of dust, but it doesn't bother me in the least, because race car. Lol Also possibly due to my slotted and cross drilled rotors.
I ordered mine from a local tuning shop, but I'm sure you can find them all over the web with the part number.
I'm also using Motul 5.1 brake fluid.

Just thought I would add to this thread as I just changed my front discs and pads today because I believe one of my discs was warped.
I have an Australian (thailand made) 08/09 GE8 that comes with discs front and rear.
Disc: DBA (quality australian brand) OEM style disc - DBA474
Pads: Ferodo DS Performance - FDS776 (these match the part Bendix part number DB1286 - which I believe fit cars like EG, EK, some CRXs, CRVs etc.)
I was a little concerned that the pads wouldn't fit my GE8 after what I read here and given these weren't listed for GE8 on ferodo website, but they matched up perfectly. Only have bedded in the pads, but they feel more linear than the OEM pads and discs (oem had more initial bite which was a little annoying). The pads are meant to be street performance pads, so hopefully they go well in mountains during summer.
