Where to replace Front Wheel Bearing for Honda Fit?
Hello,
I bought a Pair of USED 2013 Honda Fit (GE) Front Knuckle/Hub from Junk Yard.
I plan to put a longer ARP Wheel Stud on this 2 Front Knuckle/Hub.
I also want to remove the Splash Guard.
In order to do this,
I need to press out the Hub from the Knuckle,
Swap the Wheel Stud and then Press the Hub back into the Knuckle (with a new bearing since the old bearing is not reusable after pressing out the hub).
I know there are shortcuts by trimming the ARP wheel stud head,
but I don't want to do that, I want to do it properly.
Anybody know a good shop to do this?
I am located in Southern California, so I need someone local.
Or perhaps someone here is a Shop/Honda Mechanic?
If yes, please PM me how much you charge me for Both Left and Right side.
I don't want to take them to Honda Dealer since they will charge too much.
the work do NOT involve installing them on my car, since I will install them myself.
Thank You

I have all the parts and tools for the rear install though,
I just want to concentrate on finishing the front first.
but the rear is so easy (I am going to install in on my JDM RS Rear Axle with Disk Brake)...
Now for the front,
I am thinking that I should just buy a 12ton Press and special tools from Honda and just do it myself.
First, I know that I will do it correctly,
Second, the price of a 12ton Press and all the special tools might be only $250 total...
so now I am seriously thinking of just buying the press and special tools..
Unless I found a place that can do it right and at very good price...

Knowing how particular you are with your car you should go here:
Corner 3 Garage - Auto Repair - Laguna Hills, CA - Yelp
This is the best service/install shop in SoCal, I have been going to them for a very long time and so have all of my friends

I used a 20 ton hydraulic press and either a 32 mm or 36 mm sockets. Some penetrating oil for help. Pressing out the bearing is easy. But pressing it back is the hard part. Pressing too much can make it difficult to turn because of too much pressure on the ball bearing. You will need to reference/measure the depth that the bearing is seated in the knuckle. Too much torque on the spindle nut can also put too much pressure on the ball bearing making it difficult to turn. You will need to reference the spindle nut as well.
You will need an OTC ball joint separator. Personally I avoid the pickle fork type because it makes a mess with the grease in the rubber boot.
The tire shop that mounted my Michelin sport cross threaded the passenger side wheel stud. There are some pictures in this post https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...heel-stud.html.

Thanks for your input, I am more and more incline to buy a press and do this myself and your guidance above really help and I appreciate it.
Thanks again
