205/50-16's Installed on Fit Sport Factory 16"

Actually, the dealer left the pressures too high (37-38psi) I brought them back down to 35psi which has smoothed out the ride. First drive in /back from work was very good, handle well, braking is smoother.

I've had 205 50 16's for about 8 months now. They're Kumho Ecsta's. Not the best in the snow or rain but that is besides the point:
What pressure are you guys setting it. I felt 35 was too low and raised it to 45. Feels firmer and hold corners well but these nyc roads are shaking my fit up!!!
I felt there could be a higher chance of hurting the wheel with lower pressure. Am I wrong?
Anyone else on here with kumho's ?

I'm using 205-50-R16 too since one month ago and more than satisfy, better grip, stability, strong look...
I'm using the Mugen XJ Wheels 16 x 6.5
Mileage is the same as the Dunlop stocks

I just came back from the Honda dealer, i have 2009 fit sport, using the 205 tires. I was going to get an alignment today and they told me they couldn't fit the machine on my car without scratching it because the tires are too big. just something to keep in mind i guess.

Recently had Continental ExtremeContact DSW 205/50R16 tires installed after 28.5k miles on the Dunlops. What a huge difference in grip and braking! The Progress RSB also makes the rear end much more planted.
The sidewalls stick out a bit so it looks weird at first, but the extra protection to the rim is worth it. Once you put on some tire shine it looks really good!

1 easy way to get baseline tire pressure is to draw a line across the tread in several places and drive the car about 50' and see how the chalk looks, you start high and lower the pressure till the chalk is rubbing off from the center out to the outer tread block, Usually about 80% of the width. Keep dropping two lbs at a time till you get there. 11lbs of split is a lot but on some cars that might be the magic. Just have to monitor closely as you drive..
