Hello. First off, nice to join this forum obviously new here so, 👋 everyone

So I was backing up the other day, and I noticed the rear camera is kind of pointing to the left.
I don't mean the guide lines, I mean the actual camera itself.
When I inspect the camera outside it doesn't seem tilted or off to the left or anything, but when I check it inside, it's definetly just off center.
Especially when I switch to the camera mode that shows the ground, is a little slanted and I can see more of my right side of the bumper compared to the left. I don't even remember being able to see my bumper period let alone my license plate.

I tried moving the camera from the outside but it seems sturdy that I don't think it's the position but the lense or so? Does anyone know how to gain access to the rear camera?
Do I need to open the panel from the inside or the little thing covering above the camera, on the exterior?

I don't wanna pull on something and break it but it does seem like the exterior thing right above your license plate can come off but I don't wanna break it.

BTW or is just the regular stock lx one. No side view camera, only backup cam

 

Could be that the camera is misaligned, but on a 2020, I wouldn't go messing with it myself. Should be under warranty. Next visit to the dealer, have them take a look and see if they can realign.

They had to adjust mine during the dealer presentation. Nothing more embarrassing (for the $tealer) than the salesperson showing you the features and the backup feature looking at something that wasn't quite right. The new car inspection checklist showed that the backup camera was checked (that tells you something). Please take it to the dealer and drink a few cups of "free" coffee on them,
