What is shutdown noise on EX?

What is shutdown noise on EX?

Can someone tell me what the shutdown noise is on the EX?
I get this noise that is like a CD drive ejecting a disk every time I turn the motor off.
Is this just on my vehicle? If not, anyone know what it is?

Id like to know this as well. Its a motor buzzing sound, as if yo move some device under the drivers side of the dash

I believe it's the steering wheel lock.

Sounds like a motor, steering wheel lock sounds plausible. Mine does it too, i’m a manual transmission if that helps.

If it's a steering wheel lock, I should be able to jog the steering wheel left/right until the noise ... yes?
The noise sounds like it's coming from the right part of the dash to be involved w/steering.
