Thanks man! I am really loving how it looks and feels. I love that I can still go over speed bumps but it makes drives more fun. Now I know for sure I need to get slightly wider wheels to make it more fun

What does it sound like? Does it sound more like a motorbike? Small motor with Loud pipes
It's very loud. It drones hard without the resonator. You can hear the valve train in the car. I also installed a U94 hasport mount recently and that made a lot of vibration and this seemed to amplify that.
No flames about the Xmas tree she needs a tune and 67k miles so injectors are also on the to do list.
lots of grease and a 2x4 helped mine get in quick. But it’s in! The vibrations settle down a lot over time. What hardness did you go with??
I went the street edition. I like the upgrade so far. The vibration isn't as bad as i thought it would be. The car lurch is cured in my opinion. On to the next upgrade.
My hatch was left not fully closed for a couple of days, and that little light - an LED - killed the battery. I don't have a switch on the standard light, but I installed a light with two LEDs on the left side, and I have a switch for that.

I have one of those crazy aunts that likes to buy a new car every couple of years. She and my mother are pretty much Thelma and Louise in their 70’s. Well. Between the new one every other year for her and the hand me down to mom every other (starting with her new one in 08) we now have six of these Lil fuckers in our fams stable. I’ve done most of the routine shit on Em. Dealer prep while under warranties for the rest.
I guess it was my turn to get the ‘old beater’ and was gifted a blue 18 base (ex or lx) 🤷🏼♂️ Didn’t look it in the mouth yet.
As much as I razzed the jazz outta em about their shoeboxes and roller skates over the years, I rarely drove one.
I’ve put about 10k miles on it now and I gotta say..
theyre decent Lil runners and add in all the convenience of the size .. I’m in!

so. What I did today on the gk ? I got the hooks installed. Into the Wallet
I went all in and am gonna do it up as a nice sat night driver.
lil bits at a time Wheels n tires. Check. I’m thinking some aero will be next. Perhaps a small drop in the coil n strut lengths. But. That’s next month.

Zero poke. Flush with stock tire location. .75 taller.
zero rub in the rear (w -100lbs in cargo)
Steering sweeps fine Even at 1/2 bump
Road test showed no rub High speed on ramps
slight chirp heard coming into the driveway at normal speed as stock tire.

Hey dude, when ya get her fixed up can you post pics? Interested to see what 8" wheels look like at ET35. Not sure what you're gonna find for Aero, it's probably gonna be universal parts/custom. Lookin forward to updates!
