Thankfully had a good reason to ditch the factory Firestones with 24K miles on the odometer, bubbles on side wall of 2 tires.
Went with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 with a change in size to 205/50/R16.
Happy with the improvement in ride & handling as well as appearance.
This should help make the cross country drive a bit more confidence inspiring as those Firestones were horrible.
that is probably the very best upgrade for this car you can do. I did the same on my 2019 ex and it was night and day.
Did you put those on the stock wheels? If so, do you have pics?
im asking because my EX cvt got Tboned and so I lost my 16x7 RPF1 in that process. Now I have a Sport 6MT and wondering if I could just put those tires on the stock rims. I had paid 1500 for that setup before and now it jumped to closer to 2k, can’t see my self spending that right now so just curious if those fit on stock wheels.
Thanks for your input on this.
side note: my new Fit is also white. Lol.

Mounted the replacement tires on the stock Sport trim black wheels with no issues. The wider tire fits the rim with no problems. I purchased the tires from Tire Rack and they confirmed “guaranteed fit” for the change in tire size on the stock Sport rims.
Only have about 800 miles on them but very happy and most definitely a noticeable improvement in handling.
I'd go with 195's to avoid any rubbing issues while driving and turning.
Haven’t had any clearance/rubbing issues since upsizing with 800 miles of city and highway driving. NYC has some terrible roads and zero issues.
I was a bit nervous but after speaking with 2 different Tire Rack tech reps I felt confident in their “guaranteed fit” as they said if fitment issue I could return since they offered guaranteed fit on the size increase.

That looks great. I’m going to get me set after I get my spoiler painted and installed. Pic of my old one with 16x7 rpf1, they almost fill in the wheel wells. And an accident pic.

I went up to the same size tire 205/50/16 on my 2015 EX on factory rims. I put on BF Goodrich and the tires actually protect the rims way better than stock size. Also, no rubbing issues at all.

Agree…..the wider tire will hopefully help avoid/limit curb rash as nothing worse than curb rash on a black rim!

I had a set of those exact same tires and size on my 88 325is and 07 Focus SES.
Those tires were total champs, right up to the point of replacement.
Not a single issue of noise, dry/wet/snow traction, or vibration.
If I needed another set of all seasons, they'd be one of the first choices on my list!

Assuming you’re referring to the Continentals and not the Firestones.
I’ve been running them on my cars for the past few years and love them. Fantastic road manners in virtually all scenarios, reasonable cost, fairly quiet, and long lasting.

Nicely done, looks great on your red Sport.
Now if only I could find me an affordable and clean 90’s SE-R, special cars for sure but now impossible to find.
Replaced my battery not too long ago. Old one wouldn't hold a charge, and with my employee discount at the Honda dealership, a new one was only $100. Better than buying a cheapo Walmart one. Also changed my oil while I was at it.
And more importantly, I spruced it up a bit with my first ever vanity plate. Plus the orange Maryland agriculture plates look so much better than the default ones (the blue bay tags are also nice. I have those on my other car, my 2006 Accord). Plus orange is my favorite color and works with the yellow best.
"Upgraded" the Hazzard button from the MXDM not so nice one to the JDM version, which is RED and it looks way better, 🥰 its faster since JDM and RED adds fastness!! and its easier to find during night "events" since it lights up completely!!
I love how bright my LED bulbs from de auto led are but the glare and people getting mad was annoying. I tried to buy Morimoto XB headlights last year but got refunded because they were discontinued. I did end up getting Morimoto 4banger NCS wide fog lights. And I have LASFIT switchback turn signals.
I originally reached out to Kevin at 818 retrofits after doing some research last year. I decided to finally have a pair of headlights made using their led projectors, blacked out housing, a switchback halo and a smoked side marker. The wait list is 6 weeks and then they were sent to me. I removed my bumper and installed them. I tapped the turn signal to sync the halo and power them. Definitely happy with them! Excuse my dirty car.
Those lights look WAY better than the stock ones. If there is one thing I can't stand about my GK, it's the lights inability to light up the road in front out you! Hahaha.
