Does your rear window washer not work, or just barely dribble? It could be that the hose is kinked and pointed in the wrong direction. All you have to do is to remove 3 screws under the wing to gain access.
Update, that fix didn't work so did the job for real now that warm weather is here. I used an elbow from a battery vent where the kink was.
Our new Watanabe Racing F8F's. 17"x7" +50 square setup, a special ordered size and color from Japan. With matching Watanabe locking lug nuts and center caps. And surrounded by fresh Yokohama Advan rubber. She looks so damn good! Not bad for just a daily driver. 😍
Frequent browser, first time poster. I’ve got a 2017 GK5 with 240,000miles on the clock which I have personally driven. I have an AEM intake, and some hotboi wheels and skinny’s… car has been so incredibly reliable, haven’t had to do anything outside of normal maintenance. Future plans to lower the car with a full steel undertray, and either k20/24 turbo swap or the F22 swap… I love my car, and will probably keep it for my children if not for my own personal enjoyment. I think this one explains itself… anyone else have mileage close to this on the 2017 model(gk5) Ironically funny sticker to make up for hit and run damage New fronts after not having a jack and stands for a while 😅 Would love to find some widened fenders for the front Bit of poke 😋 I keep the headlight relatively clear since this phot was taken lol Hit me up in the SoCal area for photo meetups Shoutout @OtakuGang on instagram for the SpongeBob slaps Can’t wait to get rid of the monster truck fitment 😅😅🤣 Reliable street shark vibes 10 hour trip and discovered there was a nail in the tire… held pressure for hours, and even until the next day… unforgettable trip to Mount Shasta First Christmas tree flex 💪 Kid on Chris vibes Immediately got to installing Goodbye factory airbox Shoutout meguiars ceramic detailers The old hideous hub caps and stock steelies I ran for a couple years. I almost pee’d myself when these showed up Freshly mounted, had much more poke than anticipated… but I love the fitment I just want to lower the vehicle a little bit Fender flares anyone?
I can see the advantage of tinting to keep the car cooler. Two considerations: In NY, there are laws that regulate the darkness of the tint; when I'm approaching a car with a tinted driver's window - on foot or in a car - I don't know if the driver sees me. Is it safe to proceed, or is he looking the other direction? I like being able to see the driver. Aside from getting a ticket for overly-dark windows, such a car wouldn't pass state inspection.

Here in Chicago there is state auto inspection. There's only an emission test to measure how much carbon monoxide your car is spewing.
According to Illinois statute a car can have no tint darker than 35% on the left and right side windows and rear window.
Or,
You can tint the rear passenger left and right side windows and rear window as dark as you want.
But the front driver's side and front right side passenger window must be 100% clear of any degree of tint.

If I remember correctly, you were asking about how to block the gaps between the mirror and sun visor. Well I have the top of the windshield tinted and that does help. In Virginia, as long as it's above the AS-1 line, it's legal.

Thanks. I think I have some of that window tinting material around, and I could cut a piece for that.
w the help of 2 friends, stripping out almost every suspension related bolt due to virginia rust seizing, and having to burn money that was not supposed to be burned (lol) suspension is now done!
the original plan was to do spoon progressive springs and struts, but then i decided to just rock swift springs and worry about the rest later.
after the tophats on the front struts got destroyed mid install (i seriously fought for my life w them) i decided to just go ahead and upgrade everything while i was at it and ordered a hfp suspension kit. the hfp struts are made by showa, and like someone said on here i think theyre probably the same as the spoon ones with different paint and not nearly as expensive. besides the red and white looks pretty good too
after that i finally got my spoon rigid collars in. i went ahead and replaced all subframe bolts with new ones and greased them up w the fancy copper grease that came w the collars. just got an alignment to finish everything off.
im really happy with the results, handling is definitely noticeably more controlled and body roll is way down! the fender gap looks how it should look from factory imo. really like the subtle inch drop the swift springs give. so much fun ripping in the mountains this weekend =)
ps if anyone wants the leftover hfp springs, ill let em go for like, 125 and some amount on top for shipping. it should give you about a 15mm drop from stock
pic after install:
oh also does anyone know the torque specs for the front subframe bolts? i went off some older fit stuff as a rule of thumb and did them to either 65-70 ft lbs depending. id like to go under and retorque them to official numbers at some point

Finally found some time to install my wheels. The back looks good enough and the front pokes out just enough not to look weird. Now we need to lower just a tad bit.
