Nope. I was told not covered, VIN number did not fall within the range. I even printed and brought the TSB with me. I paid nearly $2000 to get them replaced 2 years ago. I was not going to replace a set of fuel injectors by messing with plastic parts in the middle of extremely cold Chicago winter. Then was told not to use "off brand" gas. No, I rarely do that. Let's just be frank -> GDI sucks and is overrated. Never ever replaced a set of port injected fuel injectors in my 07 Accord V6.

"Off brand gas" Like a guy makes his own gas in the basement and sells it to the public. Are there giant "Off Brand Processing Plants" across the country. Use Top Tier gas - or any brand - and you're fine.

the thing is that because of stupid California stuff they started to regulate emissions…. But there’s more harm done from brake system dust than from exhaust emissions…. And the GDI system works well… the bad part is the EGR stuff….
It has to be blocked and add an oil catch can and it works much better… cleaner and with less engine problems due to carbon buildup
So to fix the HIGH maintenance of GDI injector + valve issues, car makers start putting in 2 different sets of injectors and coming up with fancy air/oil separators. I just laugh at that because they experimented with straight up DI injectors for years, crusting up valves for years then they go oh s**t we need to fix that now. For the folks that don't know how to DIY clean the valve tops, this is GOOD money for shops and dealers. Multi-hours of work to take wiring harnesses, air intake, intake manifold and valve cover off while dealing with brittle plastic junk engine parts, then use a $400 walnut blaster + walnut pieces to do the cleaning. Cover everything back up with a surplus charge on a set of new intake manifold gaskets, EGR gasket, throttle body gasket, and valve cover gasket + possibly charge for a new tube of Hondabond for 4 joining corners.
The things car manufacturers do these days for fuel economy to offset engine reliability is disgusting. Move over to the Accord and Civic turbo boards to see about head gasket failures under 100K miles also.
