Those lights look WAY better than the stock ones. If there is one thing I can't stand about my GK, it's the lights inability to light up the road in front out you! Hahaha.
My lights were very bright but it was just all glare
Bought a set of Zevo Sylvania LED license plate bulbs at Autozone. $24.24. Alot brighter and visible than the stock license plate bulbs.
Nice!
Do you have the part/bulb number by chance?
I'm looking to also upgrade my map lights and dome light as well to LED.
Can anyone confirm the part number? I'm looking at a few sites and the part number seems to vary between 175 and 168/194

I'll go to my local Autozone to find out if the Zevo tail light bulbs are just plug in and go. I'm looking to upgrade my tail lights and marker lights to LED's.
Too bad I can't light up the dead rear reflector lights above the tail lights.

As long as it's not a bulb that's designed to flash, you'll be fine with all LED's.
Most marker lights and map lights on the Fit are all 168/194/175 anyway, so just choose whatever you like.
New shift knob and other goodies waiting to be installed.
Haven’t posted in awhile but finally did an interior upgrade with a leather AT shift knob. Shout out to Joe for making this video on how to change it. A pry tool works but if you have one of those thin bendable rulers those are actually even better at removing the front facing part of the shift knob. Here’s the video Joe created.
Also, should our to EvilChargerDan for a local shop referral and LegenD, who recommend RHD Japan while back. I pulled the trigger on a new leather steering wheel but wanted something that didn’t have so much CF. RHD Japan had the steering wheel I wanted and is being installed by a local shop referred to me by Evil.
I’ll post more pictures tomorrow but just want to say thanks to this awesome community. Without it I wouldn’t have the knowledge or confidence to enjoy my GK5.

Thanks Silver! Just got a chance to take some pictures of the new steering wheel installed. Again, shout out to Evil for the shop recommendation to install the new wheel and pedals. Below is a link to the wheel and pedals installed by DI Motorsports in San Diego County who did a great job and are super kind.

I installed a Cplay2Air wireless dongle that allows me to wirelessly connect my iPhone to the head unit for CarPlay. It plugs into the USB port under the radio. I secured it with a Velcro strip. This is my second Cplay2Air, the other being a gen 1 and this a 2. Installation is super easy and takes about 5 minutes. It (they) works great!
I also wanted an inductive charger for my iPhone 12pro as streaming CarPlay uses a fair amount of phone battery and I think charging cables are a hassle (hence the wireless CarPlay!). Honda makes an inductive charger but it costs over $200.00. I found an inductive charger on AliExpress specifically designed for the 3rd generation Fit for $50.00. I ordered the AliExpress unit. The projected delivery date was 1 month from the date of order and it was shipped from China (I know, I wish it weren't)- I got it in 2 weeks. Today I installed it. It comes with an adapter harness that utilizes the Fit's dash power socket plug-you remove the panel that holds it, unplug the factory plug, plug in the AliExpress and the factory plug into the AliExpress, all without cutting any wires and using Honda-style plugs. The remaining power pigtail plugs into the charger. The charger installs recessed in the cubby in front of the center console cup holders. I removed the cubby/cupholders and drilled a 3/8" hole in the bottom of it to accommodate the power wire/plug. The hole is concealed by the charger once installed. The charging platform drops down into the cubby and has adhesive strips on the bottom so I cleaned the bottom of the cubby with Prepsol, fed the wire through the hole I drilled in the bottom and pressed the charger in. It's recessed about 1 1/2", where the OEM is flush. I like the fact that it's recessed as it will secure my phone but because it's recessed it won't handle the "+" sized phones-it barely accommodates my 12pro with rubber case and the phone covers the charger's status light, although the light remains visible. Its' light remains red while powered with no phone, blue while charging and white when charged. The charger claims it will stop charging when the phone is charged but my iPhone stops itself when it's charged as well so I'm not concerned about overcharging. Instructions are pretty much non-existent but it's pretty straight forward to install. They even give you a little plastic trim tool to assist in taking the appropriate pieces off! A quick trip to Youtube to see how the console comes apart; you just have to take a portion apart to gain access to the power socket wire and remove the cup holder/cubby. Took me about 1/2 hour to install and works really well!

hello there.
got myself a 2nd hand GK4 2017 a month ago.
this week put on new set of wheels and tires for coming winter.
waiting for LED pillar tail lamp to arrive.
Plotting my next upgrade. I have a set of OEM fog lights for my 15 LX, but being an LX, it's not wired for fogs from the factory. I could scrounge up some appropriate connectors and fab up a standalone harness, but I also have a factory turn signal stalk with the integrated fog light switch. I'm seeing if there's a way to preserve that.

If you search for threads by ROTTBOY, I recall he (or someone else) found a way to add fogs to an LX.
Instead of using the factory switch for the fogs, I think he simply added a button to the blank area by the traction control button.
Did some routine maintenance. Coming up on 100k, so I did the spark plugs and serpentine belt (coolant was done before I got it). Also did an oil change and rotation for the hell of it.
Used NGK Laser Iridium plugs and a Gates belt. Even with my employee discount, it was half the price buying these from Rockauto vs the dealership. Also swapped the reverse light bulbs with LEDs. I do a lot of night driving and this helps a lot reversing, whether I'm in downtown DC or the middle of nowhere.
The Yokohama Avids have been holding up very well and wear pretty evenly. I don't baby this car, it gets a lot of spirited driving. They were basically brand new when I got the car and they're still at 8-9 32nds"
I've had it for about 8 months and I've put about 10k miles on it. And I'm already on my 4th oil change. DC driving is a lot harder on engines than flying down 270 or 495. That and I want to keep it in good shape for the back roads.
