This was some of my standing mat stuff in front of my workbench. Rolled it like a tortilla to make it 4 thickness's. Approximately 2" trick.

Parked it outside of our garage overnight last night (was off), and tried the suggestion of "bumping" the starter to slightly turn the motor but not enough for it to start. This a.m. was the coldest yet here in east TN since purchase, 29*F. "Bumped" it twice, started normally, no noise as opposed to on the previous 2 mornings, when the temp was just above 30*F. If bumping the starter is something of a workaround, I'll just do that, if Honda isn't willing to offer up a cure....I'm a night shift nurse, I ain't got the time or patience to be running back and forth from the dealer to hear that "the problem couldn't be replicated," or "We've never heard of that on Fits before" or "It's normal, nothing to worry about, it's not harming anything..." This noise has to be affecting something, whether they admit to it or not.....will try again tomorrow - supposed to be about the same a.m. temp, debating on whether to bump the starter or just see if it makes the noise again....but yeah....sorry for the novel
Sorry about that, but Honda dealers and Honda America can be worthless when they either don't know how or don't want to do a repair. My LaneWatch camera has failed 34 times in the past two years.

Today I installed inexpensive seat covers, mainly to hold down my (non-patented) seat warmers, which are squares of quilted aluminized insulation to keep my bottom warm as Winter arrives in Ohio: body heat bounces off the insulation and quickly protects against the frost. No electricity or wiring needed!

The catch can is that blue thing on the side. It filters oil out of the gasses coming from the pcv before it puts it back into the manifold.

Those LEDs are great. All my inside lights are LEDs now. When the external bulbs burn out, I'll replace them with LEDs.

Future plans include LED foglights and possibily the Progress rear sway bar. Can you tell I like LEDs? :P

how well does it work without a projector housing. I keep seeing some people saying that you need a projector housing for leds to.

Used like a truck

I have read too many threads of unhappy GK owners. I am still liking mine. I traded up from a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport that I owned for 16 years. I am almost 52 and this is my 5th car. I could not have done this as easy with my Jeep. I picked up some 8 foot lengths at the lumber yard no problem. Hope the photo posts.

Looks about right First Fit. I'm on my 5th Honda, and most recently, my second Fit, and no other cars seem to make sense anymore. Have not had to face a major disappointment yet.

Perfect tbFit! I have camped out with my Civic, searching out dark skies for astronomy. It is going to be so much easier and relaxing with my Fit.

Was planning on switching to my winter set in January, like last year. But subzero chills have already settled in here in the land of the greater toronto area, so my 195/55 R15 yokos are in for action.

Winter tire set installed. Winter ready!

I bought snow tires last winter but never used them. Maybe this year.
