I also put lights - LEDs - on the left side of the cargo area. It makes a big difference. I added a switch so I can have them light up or not. There's no need for the switch. I just wanted to do it. I wanted to post a picture, but it didn't work. : (

i use mine as a truck all the time. A few weeks ago I hauled a chicken coop and a 10' x 10' dog run from Tractor Supply and this weekend I hauled sidewalk pavers, potting soil and plants for my garden.

I'm always surprised at how much I can get into my Fit.

I going to see if I can post a picture of my cargo area lights - didn't work yesterday. I got a batch of about half a dozen from somewhere online.

Love the LED cargo lights.

So I polished the window visors and the rear plastic garnish. Bringing a used car back to where it should be.

Who needs a truck. I have a Fit!!

Hauled 500 pounds of sand, two 3' lengths of angle bracket, and five 8' 1x6s to beautify my chicken run. And got almost 38 mpg doing it.

I changed out all 3 wiper blades since the passenger side was really streaky and chattering. Maintenance light came on this week so for 1B so I checked the air filters and they look OK. I'm still pulling 44.5 MPG so I probably won't change the engine filter quite yet.
