This is my first car with a backup camera and I think it's a fantastic feature. It's hilarious that in such a small and easy to park vehicle they put a 3-view backup camera. Once you get used to the guidelines, it becomes second nature.
I've driven other cars with backup cameras and the Fit blows them out of the water. I didn't know how great the backup camera on the Fit was until I drove other cars. The dynamic guidelines on the EX is also an awesome perk.

I guess for me the surprise is that I think when you have the back-up camera, there is a degree of learning when and how to NOT use it.
That is, I admit it's useful in showing the immediate area behind me, and can be useful in precision parking. But given the "fish eye" perspective, I think you have to also go "Old School" and be sure to LOOK behind you, and continue to use your mirrors.
I'm adjusting to the reality, and finding ways to make it useful.
It's just different than what I expected.
