UPDATE: The salesmanager of the dealership reached out to his Honda Rep and was told production of Fits will resume any day.
So they will be able to order my Fit this month with a projected delivery time of end of December/early Jan.

I was starting to wonder whether to compromise and get an Insight (great car, but wasn’t as go-kart like and obviously not a manual) or get the new Yaris iA manual (mazda 2 sedan).

At least this way I will get what I want.

Not even a look lol. But as I check out the other Fit driver, 99% of the time it's been a little old lady....nose on the steering wheel :}

Their Fit's probably aren't manual though, and usually don't have black wheels and red badges....
I try to give an approving head nod or a thumbs up as I cross paths with other Fits -- much to the dismay of my wife.

As a long time “biker” (38 years), I find myself waving to motorcycles from my car and even my bicycle. Talk about getting strange looks.

I liked the very last sentence in the article: "Hondas are looking better all the time." Realistically though both companies are clearly much the same - when the warranty is over, it over!
But in one case when the warranty is up you have a Honda and don't worry so much. In the other you have to drive a Toyota until you can afford a new Honda. 🤣

impreza ... mazda cx3 ... both larger cars than the fit, though, just. I think Hyundai makes a hatchback of some kind. I can't be bothered to learn what.
I keep seeing the Velosters around and they look sexy af but then I read reviews and it's all horrorshow

Me too, but no one seems to care, and I terrified one lady. So I stopped. It's okay, I love my car.
