UPDATE: The salesmanager of the dealership reached out to his Honda Rep and was told production of Fits will resume any day.
So they will be able to order my Fit this month with a projected delivery time of end of December/early Jan.
I was starting to wonder whether to compromise and get an Insight (great car, but wasn’t as go-kart like and obviously not a manual) or get the new Yaris iA manual (mazda 2 sedan).
At least this way I will get what I want.

When I had my Golf R, literally every GTI and almost every other VW driver flashed the dub sign to me. It was the same with my previous WRXs..so much so that now that I have a '18 Fit Sport, and I see another Fit coming, I'm actually expecting to get a wave. But 4 months in and haven't gotten one yet. Not even a look lol. But as I check out the other Fit driver, 99% of the time it's been a little old lady....nose on the steering wheel :}
Their Fit's probably aren't manual though, and usually don't have black wheels and red badges....

If you buy a Toyota just don't buy white:
Toyota paint problems
I liked the very last sentence in the article: "Hondas are looking better all the time." Realistically though both companies are clearly much the same - when the warranty is over, it over!

Me too, but no one seems to care, and I terrified one lady. So I stopped. It's okay, I love my car.
