3 year / 25K Maintenance?
3 year / 25K Maintenance?
First post, be gentle! I have a 16 Fit that's coming up on the 3 year mark in a couple months and is currently around 23k miles. Last July the dealer changed the oil and I believe rotated the tires. Then in September, I bought 2 new rear tires (Michelin Premier A/S) due to both having leaks and nails the dealer said weren't patchable.
Anyway, around the same time last year I moved very close to work so I've mostly been doing a lot of short (1.5 mi one way) trips to work. As a result, my maintenance minder is only at 50% a little over a year later.
I know it's recommended to change the oil once a year at minimum and it's also recommended to change the brake fluid at 3 years, so I'll get those both done soon. However, with the MM at 50% I have no idea what other maintenance is coming up. Is there a way to tell? I assume the dealer will be able to tell? Will they do my oil and brake fluid and tell me to come back for the other items once the MM says? I just don't want to be at the dealer and have them recommend a bunch of stuff I don't need without a normal maintenance schedule to back it up.

I'd definitely do the oil/filter change. You may look at doing the engine air filter and cabin air filter if you've never done it. They're both easy to do yourself so decline if the dealership asks and you're feeling up to it. When I was at that low mileage, there really were no other maintenance items.
