Replacement Dash Tweeters
Replacement Dash Tweeters
I'm looking to replace the speakers in my 2015 EX. I plan to put 4x Polk DB651 in the doors. But there is very little information about replacing the tweeters. Is it worth it?
Does anyone know what tweeters I could buy that would be an easy swap (fits, no dremeling) for ones in the dash?

I'll check on the feasibility of sticking the Kenwoods on top of the stock tweeter covers and see if routing the wires on the side without cutting dremel etc is possible.
Worst case is you can buy the "lid" or tweeter cover, then cut to fit an aftermarket tweeter either above or underneath. They are about 27 bucks a piece at Bernardi.

Left Lid: 77137-T5R-A00ZA
EDIT: Looks like I may not have to cut anything. I can hide the kenwood tweeters underneath the original "lid" / garnishes.

Now if you went with the Polk Audio tweeters to match your door speakers, I'm sure it can be done too. The db1001 tweeter comes to mind
