EX Tweeter high pass filter location?

I am planning to replace the speakers in my 2016 EX with component speakers in the front door/dash. Do the tweeters in the dash have a high pass filter? If so, where is it located so I can remove it when I replace it with the component tweeter?

The high pass filter is built into the tweeters. Its a simple capacitor. It is referred to as passive full range. They are in parallel with the front Left and right door speaker channels.

I have some nice Kenwood tweeters I haven't installed yet. The stock tweeters are actually not bad once EQ is dialed in properly.

Thanks. I should have just removed the tweeters and looked, but your answer just saved me a bit of time. It's the wife's car and I don't have access to it as much as I would like.

I have read your post and have been using your thread as a guide on how to accomplish what I've selected to install. Thanks! KSC-SW11 on the way as well as some Alpine component speakers. Like I said, it's the wife's car, so I'm not going crazy on the install. She's not very critical on sound quality, but I just can't stand what's in there now. I've had a KSC-SW11 for years now and like how it filled up the bottom end of a stock system in my last FIT and now in my Tacoma.
