Unfortunately it’s one of those things that are hard to find cheaper. I don’t remember the exact amount, but I got a bit of a deal from Axion Industries during their Black Friday sale last year.

Thanks buddy, appreciate it! Took a while but very happy with the result .

Regarding the Mugen tailgate garnish - it goes directly over the tailgate that’s on the car right now. It comes with pre-applied tape, but there is an area at the bottom where two little plastic pins/screws go in. You need to take the garnish off to drill tiny holes. It’s not difficult and if you’re interested I can take a photo later this weekend to show you exactly what I mean.

Thank you sir ! Mine happened to be black, but of course it’ll work on chrome. It’s Vinyl wrap. I saw a few Fits in Asia do this and really liked the look. I bought a small heat gun on Amazon and small plastic vinyl applicator tools. Also used an X-Acto blade. It was my first time doing this, so I messed up on the first try.

From my extensive research, the closest to ‘Honda red’ is - 3M 1080 Scotchprint Gloss Dark Red Vinyl Wrap G83. I bought the 5ft x 1ft (60in x 12in) (5 Sq/ft) from Metro Restyling.

Hope that helps!

that garnish looks so good! my other car is wrx wagon and it reminds me of something that i've always wanted (a jdm mid wing) but was never able to find one/afford one

my buddy has one, and your car reminded me so much of his car

before - no mid wing

after - with the mid wing

Thanks a lot buddy! The Wagon looks awesome! I really like how Mugen brought back a kind of classic JDM piece but with an updated design. I was convinced it would look nice with a spoiler (as Mugen actually suggests). It was a bit expensive for what it is, but happy how it turned out in the end.

I was this close to ordering Affection - Desire wing last night. I decided it's not fair -- you are a strong independent Fit, and you don't need no copy cat with your rare JDM wing.

My Japanese friend is now trying to procure the El Dorado - Crave wing.

What, no way! It’s totally fine if you get the same spoiler. For me, I guess the whole point of being on a forum is to share our builds (and discoveries in this case) and inspire/get inspired. I’m just glad the spoiler fits our USDM Fits - it opens up more options for us.

The El Dorado spoiler was the first one I found and was seriously considering it for a while until I found the Affection one (seems like they both bolt on/mount the same way). I feel it might actually Fit the styling of the new facelift Fit more. If your friend can't get it, RHDJapan can always help you out.

Hey, your gk5 looks amazing! I’m wanting to run the same size wheels and tires along with some springs. How is the ride quality with the Eibach Pro Kit? Is there any rubbing with your set up? And do you have any scraping when going over speed bumps or pulling into raised driveways?

Hey! Thanks buddy, appreciate it

The idea behind the build was a comfortable daily without rub. For the price, the Pro kit is fantastic, couldn’t be happier. It’s very comfortable for a lowered suspension (based on previous spring and coil-over experience - Megan Racing, Function & Form, Koni, and most recently HKS Hipermax IV SP). No scraping or rubbing, but I drive cautiously like with any lowered suspension. In regard to driveways, I always try to pull in and out at an angle whenever possible (again, just to be safe). The front lip lowers it a tad bit as well and I haven’t had any issues. The car still has enough height to avoid being problematic in getting around. Just don’t speed over potholes, bumps, railroads, etc. and you’re good. Hope that helps ~

awesome! That’s awesome man! I’ve been researching for a month or so and your fit has influenced me to do the same size Rota Slipstreams with the same size tire and the Eibach Pro Kit. I won’t have all the extra parts but I’m gonna put my black 15 lx on the same wheel/tire and spring set up! I’ll try to post pics once it’s done!

Haven’t updated in a bit since I think I covered everything in the last big photo-shoot and did most of my modding (and $pending) during spring.

Anyway, thought this was amusing enough to share. Went out shopping, parked in an emptier area of the lot and came out of the store to this (I’m obviously the self-proclaimed gang leader in this situation):

Nice! Excitement ! I've used Yokohama's for a while and have the same ones on my Fit and 86 - fantastic tires for the price.

Guys, I am running the RV6 DP, exhaust and intake. I have been watching the AFR and it never goes below 12.5 on any pull. I think it's time to push this tune up a bit. If any of you have a similar setup, PM me if you want to share a tune. I am racing in three weeks, and want that advantage... Cheers, d
P.S. Also considering BC valve springs and retainers and cranking the redline to 7500...
