Rear Disc Brakes for the GK
I might have to do this- the only downside is finding replacement discs if the company goes under. Probably worth getting a spare set or two just in case.
Many thanks for taking the plunge on rear discs, I've been talking about it for a while but hard to take action without seeing it work on someone's car.
Edit- do you drive hard enough to tell if there's a difference in brake bias?

Rotor
I think it will be ok the rear rotor only stop 25 percent of the car the rotor should last a for a long time all the other cars I have I change the front brake pads 3 times before I change the back brakes
The car stop very well but remember I have upgrade the front 11.1 rotor in the front with a bigger caliper
when I did the front brakes the car was nose dive but now is balanced with 11” rotor in the back I personally think is a good upgrade
now that been said I think I’m going to get cross drile slotted rotor for the front I thinking the Acura TL has the same setup I want to try if it fits in the e brake then all we have to do is just getting it redrill and all will be good but for now I’m happy with the car and it’s my dd so make next summer I will try my idea but if someone has the time let me know how it goes

this is def a big concern
we at this point, we know its not hard to find pads. if somehow it were equally as easy to find rotors, this would be good news
No worries 😉
10 years of 100k miles that is when you worry about that just man up and have fun with your car 🚗 how many people plans on having the car for more then 10 years?
have fun with life do what you want be safe about
it the worry is about the rotor we can alway run ep e brake cables with accord rear rotor redrill like I said the bracket is the most important thing on this kit

I had an NSX for ten years, and one of the previous owners had put a set of oversized Brembos on the front. They worked great, until the discs needed to be replaced, and it turned out they were some obscure size that none of the common big brake kits used. One performance shop said they could get them made for something like $1k, and the shop that said they could get it done cheaper went out of business after they took my money. Ended up having to get the whole stock front setup on Ebay and downgrade.
That being said, I think I'm going to get this set for myself when the Christmas bonus comes in, but I've talked myself into the spare discs too. Can definitely agree on having fun with the car, that's the whole reason I got it.
