Selling dealer filled up to 35 psi during their PDI when I bought the car (checked as soon as I got home) and so far so good.

I found my tires were down to 25psi or slightly less just recently! I'm not sure if it is just the cold weather here in San Diego, or if they were always underinflated. Anyway, the door sticker said 32psi (I think), so I went with that.

my tire pressure

Mine came from the dealer with all 4 at 28 PSI. I went to 36 PSI on all tires. No problems. Max on tire said 44 PSI.

Slightly above the door jam numbers - 36 all around.

I haven't owned a car in decades. I check the tires monthly, along with the oil and coolant. Is that too little, too much, or just right?

I also inflated my tires to 36psi, seems to work fine.

Whenever I have used the factory pressures I end up wearing out the edges of the tires, and I'm not exactly a sporty driver. I tend to add 4-6PSI to the factory values to make the tires wear normally.

Mine had 25psi in each. Cold weather likely has brought them down a bit. Inflated to 35psi, see how different it drives.

It takes about 20F temperature change to change tire pressure by 1 PSI. Cold may have something to do with it, but tires do naturally leak down with time.
