Every time my key is used......somthing breaks

Hey FF just thought I'd tell you my problems.

I'm the owner of a first wave first year 2009 fit dx-a and i've got some issues building up pretty fast. Being a DX I have no power options like some of you ballers meaning I've got to use my main key to do things like unlock my front doors, hatch, and turn the car on ( yeah i know everyone turns the car on with a key). Problems started occuring at the end of the summer when i went to unlock my drivers door an realized that the key slot itself has been shifted. So instead of it sitting up at a proper 12 o clock its more of a 2 o clock. A bit f***ed up but everything works and " if it ain't broke don't fix it". Next some time later my ignition gets to encounter the same problem.........car door chimes when key isn't present, and ignition won't go all the way back. Now this evening my hatch won't open. not sure if it locks or unlocks, and it won't release...........wtf

my question beeing how much will this cost to get all three key related problems fixed and wtf happened? I am not abusive at all and the key is straight.

thanks

corrosion or dirt is my guess. spray some airduster, or wd40 in there

Actually, the best lock lubricant is NOT WD-40....it's a graphite lubricant.

Lock-Ease is one widely available brand.

NAPA AUTO PARTS

The benefit with a dry graphite lubricant is that the carrier liquid evaporates, leaving a dry, non-sticky lube in the tumblers. (We also used to use this stuff in speedometer cables....anybody remember THOSE?)

funny thing about lube is................................................ ....................

lol but seriously i had used it in my drivers door handle and shortly after is when the lock tilted. It works perfectly fine, locks and unlocks 100% don't know if i should be to worried about this one

and from talking to some people I'm told i snapped the part on the handle that holds the spring so it prevents it from unlatching. Sound possible? I'll be going to get it checked out in a few days i'll let you know the damage.
