Here's some locations not too expensive and portions are good:

Squat N' Gobble: Has three SF locations

Genki Ramen: For those craving Ramen

Hot Wok Bistro in Burlingame

Goldilocks off of Rengstorff if you want filipino food

Star India in SF: Has an $8 buffet that's pretty decent if you like indian

Naan N' Curry: A dope indian place but I'm not sure on prices has 2 SF locales

Sushi Factory in San Jose: A little pricey but it's all you can eat

Pizza Chicago in San Jose: Good quality pizza that wont dent your budget

On the Bridge, Japantown - Good for Curry and Yoshoku Style food at decent prices.

Volcano Curry SF

Sure !! How are you guys doing on the mileage? I am about to finish my first tank and only got 33mpg. Could it be all the hills i have to go thru from Tracy to Bay Area? I am hoping my next tank will be better as Dealer probably give you cheapest gas they could find.

my first tank came out to 29.7mpg...i was kind of disappointed but never thought of the dealer (probably) using cheapo gas like arco. that and driving around in SF on newyears probably didn't help my first tank
