Anyone staying in Austin for the night Satuday? I think Jeff and I are gonna stay at the Super 8 Motel - Austin University/Dtwn Area, 5526 N IH-35, I-35 South to Exit# 238A. 2 Queen beds for $57 w/ taxes, etc. Has internet included, etc.

Who's arriving Friday night? Im debating on hitting it up Fri night or just staying in SA till Sat morning. Kinda pointless to stay in SA since no one is going to roll up there but we will see. I suppose I still have friends I can visit.

 

I'm looking for Base Foglight covers to trade with anyone for my Blue ones. I'd give the foglights but they are cracked. I still have them but will need new glass. I'd prefer Blue Base covers if possible.

Definately siccmonkey you should come out, plus your already in Austin. Hey bigtoepfer I called today and got some quotes. I think Im gonna get reservations at the Super 8 Motel - Austin University/Dtwn Area too. Its 49.99 plus tax, plus there will already be two other Fitfrreakers there.

 

I gotta tell you guys about this nightmare I had last night. It was 10:30 Sat. morning the day of the meet. I was the first one there and my car was nasty. For some reason I didn't wash it before I left for the meet. So I wait for a few people to show up before I run to the car wash, this way they don't think I hosted the thing and didn't even show. But the people that kept showing up were not Fit owners. They were hooptie ass civic owners with different color body panels and running open header on a single cam. The guys that drove them looked like gangsters, ready to steal my car at any moment. I told the main guy that I had to run to the car wash and I would be back in thirty minutes. So as soon as I left I called up Marcus and told him to stay away for fear of his newly found turbo set up would be jacked. After I got off the phone, I went to the nearest cyber cafe and posted up on the boards warning everyone to stay away from the original meet spot and to call me with a new location. I woke up right after I made my post and I was covered in sweat. I couldn't sleep well the rest of the night.
