Is there an immobilizer in the base key?

I've got an LX and bought the keyless entry system from Bernardi Parts and Erik said that the Fit Sport Key was unique.

I have no idea; if there is it is seal either by heat or glue because there is no screws or "separable" seams.

I just checked honda.ca. There is an immobilizer in all Fit models.

Looking at the side of my key, I can see a seam. We can probably separate it with an exacto knife.
