I Fail...

Ok so While attempting to install my H-fit SS I ended up destroying the little white plastic cup on the bottom of the shit lever while trying to get it off. Called up Honda and they don't sell this little piece seperately...They tried to charge me $125 for a whole new shift assembley. After some research I ended up at Short Shifters by TWM Performance and found they sell a similar(if not the same) cap for the 06+ civic. Ordered one and it will be here tommorow. I will let you know if it Fits in case anyone else has trouble like I did trying to get the cap off the ball.

Heres a Pic of the cap sitting on the pivot ball.

EDIT: The piece came in the mail today and its the exact same thing. They sent me two so if anyone else so happens to need one I got one!

for future reference for anyone trying to get the cap off, use the closed end of a wrench that fits over the cap/ball and use it to pry it off gently. works great.

Would have been great to know! Instead of needle nose pliers with electrical tape on the ends
