... went up over at Honda. I ran to the dealership to pick up 4 bottles of ATF fluid and a few crush washers for my Fit. He rang me up and my mouth just about fell open when he said $44!

$9.32 a bottle. The guy said that they went from $7 to $11 May 1st but brough them down to $9 after some haggling with their supplier. My guess is the stuff going on in Japan

 

Pick another ATF. It's not like Z1's even that good an ATF. Our Fit will destroy Z1 in 15k miles of 60 miles a day highway commuting. Other synthetic ATF's that are much more durable are available for the same price.

If it was Honda's new full-synthetic DW1 ATF, then that's not too bad for a dealer price.

 

It probably WAS DW-1 synthetic ATF.

 

I bought the new ATF a couple months ago and it was around 7 a bottle then. I think anything coming from Japan will be up in price for some time to come.

 

Hmm... Yea, it was the DW1 stuff. Still seems steep to me.

I'm guessing it's ok for it to mix with the Z1 already in there.....?
