Where's the charge pipe from the compressor outlet to the IC ran through? Any pictures of that? I'm liking the idea of being able to keep my OEM fogs...

Thanks.

what do you mean by that?

the pics look great btw, can't wait for this to hit the streets!

122whp is great, i think a lot of us don't realize how much more power that is for a fit, and for a bolt on with no tune, its awesome.

yeah, i know it! even honda guys who are familiar with what does what to your car to equal WHP will still expect massive gains...and forget telling your co-workers that you have turbocharged your car and now have a 150 hp fit, because to them turbo = massive power.

even so, on a manual transmissioned fit that will put down anywhere to 85-92whp, jumping from that to 122whp at only 4 some odd psi is amazing. thats around a 30whp bump, which is huge! a lot of guys talk about how the r18 making 140 hp would be awesome for a fit si...well, if you are making around 120 whp, you have the makings of a car equipped with even more hp, and turbocharged torque to boot. Plus, you weigh a hell of a lot less.

the l15 wasn't really built for crazy engine jobs, just competent enough to handle decent boost to help turn your fit into a better mountain carver or track go-er.

exactly
people hear "turbo" and think that your car is automatically like the fast and the furious.

AJ Racing (T1R) has had a vested interest in our club and Fits for a long time. Why wait for HKS when you can have the proven T1R turbo setup. That's all.

1. because this isn't about the HKS kit, its about the greddy setup

2. there are still some kinks to be worked out with the tr1 and even the owners of the kit have attested to it.

3. tr1 makes a good product, but i'm pretty sure the greddy will be great as far as plug and play and not throwing cels, something the tr1 does at the moment. simple as that.

120whp in a Fit deff wont be slow. My car weighed in at 2510lbs. Thats light as hell for full weight plus. Even if the thing is tiny.
Even 100whp Fits move pretty quick. With 120whp Id say the Fit could run low 15's maybe high 14's in the 1/4 mile with a decent driver.

Im pretty sure theres a BOV somewhere on the coldpipe. (after intercooler) Greddy isnt stupid enough not to supply a BOV/Bypass valve. If there is no BOV/bypass Id be surprised.

Header? It uses a turbo charger so no header. Did you mean tubular manifold? I wouldnt bother. Tubi manis dont usually add any power unless youre in the 400+ Hp range.
Cast manifolds are plenty fine for making power.

i would love to be rocking a low 15/high 14 quarter mile. that would be so stinking sweet.

i agree that greddy would include some type of bov.
