i was meaning to ask you how the car drove? does the sc feel like a belt driven tc or like you just have a big ass engine?

im a bigger dude and when cruising around town with my gf the car doesn't really have the go to really merge onto the freeway that im used too (coming from a small block v8)

*merging onto the freeway up a hill on ramp or after the light... will this thing make me turn "really like my car" into "i love my car" keep in mind that im not a racer just a guy who hates slowing the flow of traffic from a stop.

it feels like you do have a bigger motor. Turbos tend to have uneven spikes, and dont feel smooth, meaning you can feel when you hit boost and the lag. The SC feels similar but the power is instant, so it just PULLS. I dont know about feeling like a V8 but you will absolutely love the way it feels.

im not expecting the car to feel like my truck used too... but pound for pound the sc makes our small cars into a beast (figuratively speaking) right?

Could you take a picture of your Rotrex from above? I keep looking at the pictures in the mag articles on the website, and my car, and it looks like my air conditioner line and maybe the brake lines are in the way. Is moving that kind of stuff part of the DIY installation?

so Chris,...can you give us a hint at how they achieved more power? and how much more power is achieved?

like...for say...180whp in your car with the 10lb kit? 180-190 would totally sell me on this kit. that would mean that the kit with stock everything else would have to put down around the high 160's or low 170's. I dug up the old dyno chart of the 10 lb and it showed about 158whp with about 140lbs of torque. So is the reworked kit going to improve on that substantially (about 10whp or 10 lbs of torque)?

oh oh, final question, the reworked kits don't require a i/c does it?...i hope not...it shouldn't need to...right?

Well according to the AT Kit (I know is not out yet), the different between the MT Kit and AT kit, is it buz of the Tran. size, the piping will have different way to go??? Like the CAI (Fxxjxta), it won't fit the AT Fit, buz of the Tran is different size than AT.

No, Im not sure on the specifics, but if i recall correctly there was talk of a little smaller blower being used so you would get boost quicker to compensate for the AT trans. However i could be wrong, only the Jacksons know for sure.
